Bonfire

After making the gang a brunch of pumpkin muffins, eggs, and canteloupe from the market (which I haggled for, by the way), I went and got Malcolm and met them at the park. Karrin and Brad's neighborhood association had a neighborhood bonfire, and we all enjoyed s'mores, a nice fire, and lots of cute kids and puppies (especially Gabbro). CKinn tossed the football with Malcolm, which did my heart good to see. I tried tossing the ball, and I could barely get my hand around it, but in an effort to be a good sport, I ended up with my first-ever sports injury! OK, OK, it was just a broken nail . . .
